During my internship at Studio Pixel, I had the opportunity to apply my knowledge in a professional environment while developing my skills within UX/UI design, web design and graphic design. Studio Pixel is an advertising agency specializing in web design, digital marketing, UX/UI design and graphic design.
The internship was part of my IT, Media and Design (IMD) studies at Södertörn University, where I gained practical experience by contributing to real projects and collaborating with designers and developers.
About the project
As a UX/UI and Web Design Intern, I contributed to different projects by creating design concepts, developing website layouts and improving digital experiences. I worked with Figma, WordPress and WooCommerce while collaborating with team members to transform ideas into functional solutions.
My roles
Throughout the internship, I worked on various design tasks, including responsive web design, user interface improvements and visual concepts. I applied user-centered design principles to create solutions that were both visually appealing and easy to use.
I also gained experience working with WordPress, where I managed website content and e-commerce elements. This included updating product descriptions, replacing images, organizing categories and improving the overall structure of digital content.
Design & development
An important part of the internship was collaborating with another intern, where we combined our skills to bridge the gap between design and implementation. By sharing ideas and feedback, we were able to improve our workflow and create more effective digital solutions.
